The first half of the next season is finally on-line!

The new year opens with a great event: the long awaited return to the Teatro alla Scala with one of his signature roles such as Pagliacci's Canio. After such a great opening the Artist will be again a guest of the greatest Opera Houses of the world such as the Opernhaus of Zurich, the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin and the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.

The German opera dedicated magazine "Der Neue Merker" has recently publish the first review of the Berlin's Turandot protagonized by JosÉ Cura. Fresh news for all German fans: the Bavarian Classic radio "BR-klassik" will broadcast a special issue of "Musik der Welt" about José Cura and the Argentinian music. The programme - named "Lied der weinenden Weide" - will be focused on the repertoire of "Anhelo"'s CD, with music by Guastavino, Buchardo and Ginastera among others.

We are announcing that the concert scheduled for 24 April 2010 in Cibona, Zagreb, has been postponed due to the current restrictions on air traffic, which impossibility to predict, affects the preparation and performance of the event.

The first one is the return to the Megaron Theatre in Athens (17th April 2010), while the second will take the artist to the Croatian city of Zagreb (24th April 2010).

In both events the tenor will perform some of the most important opera arias of his repertoire together with unforgettable versions of some Argentinean "sonetos".

A new DVD has been added to the official catalogue: José Cura performs the title role in the world premiere recording of Edgar with the rediscovered fourth act.

After 119 year the Orchestra and the Choir of the Teatro Regio di Torino under the baton of Yoram David and the direction of Lorenzo Mariani give us back this Puccini's piece in its original version.
Also starring: Amarilli Nizza, Julia Gertseva and Marco Vratogna.

José Cura goes back to Budapest, this time as the special guest of the Opera Ball organized in the Hungarian city.
In this occasion, apart from singing, he will exceptionally give the first step of the opening waltz.
